Biography
Robert Finster was born to musicians and grew up in Graz. As a child he learned violin and choral singing, later he was a member of the cabaret group Andritzer Treffpünkte and worked independently in the telecommunications industry in the field. At first he wanted to study acting in Graz, but was rejected there. From 2007, he finally studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, he successfully completed his studies in 2011.

At the Festspiele Reichenau he was seen in 2011 in Miss Else and in 2012 in Stefan Zweig's Impatience of the Heart, from 2011 he played at the Vorarlberg State Theater in Tartuffe, The Enchanted Brothers, Mother Courage and Ronja Robber's Daughter. In 2012 he appeared on stage at the Graz Theater am Lend with Cafe deja vu, at Garage X Theater Petersplatz in 2014 in The Measure of Things by Neil LaBute. In 2015 he played at the Bosnian National Theater Zenica in Balkan Requiem, he was also seen at Adi Hirschal's Wiener Lustspielhaus as Hamlet and played with the action theater ensemble in Angry Joung Men and Kein Stück über Syrien.
